Claire Beauchamp Randall, a nurse during the Second World War, mysteriously returns in time to Scotland in 1743. There she meets a dashing mountaineer warrior and finds herself involved in an epic uprising. Moore (the developer of the series), his team decided to preserve the Gaelic words instead of translating them into English.
